HydroFest can be used as a finish for:
- kitchen backsplashes above the worktop,
- bathroom walls,
- kitchen walls,
- surfaces in wet zones, for example in restaurants,
- ceramic tiled walls,
- floors in wet zones.
Benefits of HydroFest microcement:
- Ready to use – It is a factory-coloured microcement that does not require the addition of pigments. Once the product is prepared, you can proceed directly with the application.
- Good adhesion to different substrates – HydroFest can be used on properly prepared surfaces such as concrete, plaster, building boards and ceramic tiles.
- Seamless surface with no grout – The lack of joints creates a modern, uniform effect and makes everyday cleaning easier. It also means fewer places where dirt and moisture can accumulate.
- Subtle decorative finish – HydroFest allows you to achieve a delicate, elegant finish with a natural character.
- Option to create an antibacterial coating – By adding Nano Silver Plus to the sealer, you can create an additional hygienic protective layer, especially useful in kitchens, bathrooms and wet zones.
- Easy to keep clean – The finished surface can be cleaned with water and mild pH-neutral cleaning products.
- Water resistance – The HydroFest system allows you to create a durable surface resistant to moisture and splashes, making it suitable for wet zones.

What's included?
A complete kit for creating a durable, aesthetic and water-resistant microcement surface on a kitchen backsplash. The kit includes HydroFest microcement, developed for areas exposed to moisture, splashes and everyday dirt.
It is an ideal solution for the wall above the worktop, around the sink, near the hob or in the space between kitchen cabinets. Microcement creates a seamless surface with no grout lines, making the kitchen look modern, calm and easier to keep clean.
Once properly protected with a sealer, the surface is resistant to dirt and everyday use. It is a practical alternative to tiles, glass or wall panels — especially where a minimalist look and easy cleaning are important.
The kit contains:
FEST GRUNT 1 kg – a primer that evens out the absorbency of the substrate and improves the adhesion of microcement to the surface. This is an essential stage of surface preparation before applying the decorative microcement layer. The product is sufficient for one coat.
HYDROFEST microcement 5 kg – ready-to-use, factory-coloured, water-resistant microcement. The product is sufficient for two coats.
PU FEST TURBO sealer 400 g component A + 200 g component B – a two-component solvent-based sealer for protecting microcement surfaces. It offers high resistance to abrasion and dirt. The product is sufficient for one coat. For the best finish and long-lasting protection, we recommend applying two coats. Choose the option with additional sealer for the second coat to achieve full surface protection.
OPTIONAL:
Optional substrate reinforcement kit (Recommended when applying microcement over existing ceramic tiles) – If you want to apply microcement on a tiled kitchen backsplash, choose the "FestKontakt with mesh" option. This set helps level, reinforce and stabilise the substrate, while also improving the adhesion of the next microcement layers. FEST Kontakt acts as a bonding bridge and a base compound in which fibreglass mesh can be embedded. This additionally strengthens the surface and helps protect it against possible cracking. The product is sufficient for two coats.
Color selection
HydroFest microcement is available as a factory-coloured product, so there is no need to add pigments before application. The colour is prepared during production, which helps achieve an even, repeatable shade and a consistent finish across the entire surface.
You can choose a colour from our standard palette or order a custom shade outside the basic colour chart. HydroFest can also be prepared in colours from the RAL palette, which includes over 200 shades, as well as from the NCS palette, offering access to almost 2,000 colours. This gives you great flexibility when matching the finish to your kitchen, bathroom or overall interior design.
Please remember that the colour displayed on a screen may differ from the actual shade. This can be affected by your monitor or phone settings, as well as the lighting in the room. The same colour may look different in daylight, warm evening light or cool technical lighting. That is why we recommend ordering a sample before making your final decision, so you can check how the colour looks in your own interior.
